About SJV
Mission
St. John Vianney Catholic School is a Christ-centered community guided by the Congregation of Holy Cross educating both minds and hearts while achieving high academic standards and embracing the call to serve.
History
In the spirit of the Congregations commitment to Catholic education, St. John Vianney Catholic School was established in 1992 under the leadership of Fr. Joe Corpora, C.S.C. In its first year the school was comprised of a single preschool grade. Each successive year a grade was added to accommodate the children moving on as well as a growing enrollment. May of 2002 marked the first graduation of our eighth grade class.
St. John Vianney Catholic School continues to be administered in the Holy Cross tradition. The school is a community permeated by a spirit of family among administrators, teachers, staff, students, parents and alumni. In an effort to continue to form hearts and minds, students are gently guided through a rigorous academic education and a process of complete human formation. By this approach, students are given the means to become informed citizens and Christians not only for today, but also for the future.
